SINGLE LEAF SLIDING DOORS
Door leaf in the sliding system is installed on special roller mechanism to provided leaf movement in parallel with the wall.
A sliding door also has a casing. However, unlike swing design where casing performs as a supporting structure, it has decorative function.
Single-leaf sliding doors are designed for standard wall openings: 60, 70, 80 or 90 centimeters wide. Where the wall opening is wider it is better to use double-leaf design.
Specific features of rolling mechanism
Smooth movement of the door leaf is provided by rolling mechanism which can be installed either on the floor or above the door hole.
Top mounting is preferable for the guide rails. This prevents it from dirt ingress and excludes accidental mechanical impacts.
