In detail about Duo
The Duo model is an entrance door with increased frost protection:
- metal frame (frame profile width — 99 mm);
- welded frame construction;
- 2 thermal breaks that keep the door from freezing and keep it warm on the inside;
- 3 seals;
- external panel material — MDF with dense structure ensuring resistance to moisture, protecting the leaf from swelling up under the effect of condensation;
- the thickness of the slab varies from 98 to 108 mm depending on the type of internal lining (milled MDF panel 6-16 mm); the material is rust-resistant galvanised steel;
- exterior finish is a weather-resistant enamel.
Stone wool, which has low thermal conductivity, is used as an internal environmental filler. Its main advantages include fire resistance: the material does not ignite even at 1 000 °С.
The strength and reliability of the fabric are responsible for ribs filled with thermal insulation. In addition, these, together with the anti-release pins on the hinge side and the two three-bar
locks, reinforce the burglary resistance.
The Duo door has a peephole and an additional “night” lock.
Hardware
The hardware kit includes:
- split handle;
- 2 locks (security class 4);
- hinges with a bearing provide a firm hold, facilitate the opening/closing process and prevent the slab from sagging.
Exterior colours: enamel (RAL catalogue).
The inside skin of the slab is produced in white (RAL 9003).
Entry door configurations
RELIABILITY
A door leaf represents structure that is made of unibody sheet metal thickness 1 mm. The doors reliability provides by metal door frame thickness 1,5 mm. Inside the door, where locks are, the transversal and longitudinal ribs also from metal sheet are welded.
DURABILITY
Door leaf is filled in by the layer of polyurethane thickness 58 mm, which ensures stiffness of the door leaf, endurance, good sound insulation and heat transmission resistance. Unlike rock mineral wool, polyurethane filling doesn’t change its form. It doesn’t cause allergies. The lifetime of this material is around 40 year!
EASTHETICS
Outside MDF panel thickness 16 mm is covered by decorative finishing of German production. The inside panels have the same designs as interior doors from BELWOODDOORS collections.
COMFORT
Comfort and safety directly depends on the quality sealing form. The door frame has unibody curved 3-stepped form, with rubber seal guarantying high level of sound insulation. For metal door leaf is used the Swedish production seal.
SAFETY
From the hinges side, in the door end there are anti-removable pins don’t allow to open door slab even after cutting off the hinges. The lock covers for 4-th level security locks provide the highest protection level!
